The BioChain was established in 2025 to address a structural gap in regulated industries: while data integrity has long been a regulatory expectation, the underlying systems that capture, store and move biological data were rarely designed with integrity as a first-order property. As regulators have hardened their expectations — through interpretation of frameworks including 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and MHRA GxP Data Integrity guidance — organisations have been left exposed by infrastructure that cannot produce the evidence regulators now require.

The BioChain platform addresses this by providing verifiable, tamper-evident records that preserve data sovereignty and privacy. The architecture keeps sensitive payloads in client-controlled storage while making integrity continuously verifiable across institutions and jurisdictions, without requiring organisations to rebuild their existing systems.
